Plakat Bettas
The plakats have enjoyed a surge of popularity among hobbyists because it is
believed they are more active than the long-finned bettas, easier to spawn, and
more resistant to disease. They are now routinely bred into longfin lines
to help strengthen rays, add vigor, and maintain finnage as a reasonable length.
HMPK indicates halfmoon plakat. OHM indicates greater than halfmoon plakat.
